Google wave

Most people would recognise the ‘Google camera car’ if they saw it, these days. But how about the ‘Google camera boat’? Just over a month ago, a specially rigged boat (low to pass under the bridges) was circling around Amsterdam for three days recording the view from the canals.

Google have not given a release date yet, but before long you can join all the fat, wine-sipping yuppies & noisy students without even leaving your home.

We are not the first, venice can be seen here. Judging by that example what we are most likely to see are fat yuppies, noisy students and tourists; pointing their own cameras back at that strange boat, sailing by.
